Small flute or children's mechanical instrument from folk art, decorated with bold red and blue painting with silhouettes of goats, geese and pigs. Metal pipes are visible behind the front window, suggesting the function of a simple air or imitation musical mechanism. The rustic wooden legs and worn painting highlight the home-made nature and age of the object, probably dating from the first half of the 20th century. Ideal as a prop for historical, rural or fairy tale scenes, where it adds the charm of old-time street entertainment to the setting.
