Standing St.Nicholas/Santa Claus decoration, made of painted board with metal stand. The figure is styled in cartoon form with a red cloak, white trim and a bag of presents on his back. This type of panel painted figure was particularly popular in the 1970s-1980s as Christmas decoration in shops, community centres and schools. The decoration has a distinctive retro look and is suitable as a prop for scenes set in the socialist period or for general retro settings with a Christmas theme.
