Simple rocking horse from the 1930s-1940s, made of solid wood with white painted head and dark green skids. The construction consists of a beam seat with wooden backrest, metal screws and a black painted bridle complete the expression. The surface bears a strong patina, abrasions, exposed wood in places and remnants of the original paint - authentic, unrestored condition. Suitable for indoors - country parlor, cottage or historic children's room. A striking prop for a period film, fairy tale or stylized photo shoot.
