Wooden wall key rack with metal hooks and original "HUITRA" logo at the top. On the bottom there is a label with the inscription "Hochwasser Mai 1940", which commemorates the floods of May 1940. The object dates from the 1930s-1940s, probably from Germany or Austria, where it was used as a key depository in administrative or industrial buildings. The combination of quality wood, precise craftsmanship and a functionalist design with an emphasis on practicality and clarity are typical features. Suitable as a prop for films set in the Second World War.
